Land Administration and Development Studies (LAnDS) Group were established in 2010 to support university research in the land administration and development. The group comprises of nine research members whom are specialized in four areas of research- land tenure, land value, land use and land development. The research team is currently doing one ERGS and one FRGS studies on the above matter. In addition, the team members have published more than 50 papers in conference proceedings and peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, LAnDS collaborate with JKPTG, JPBD Peninsular Malaysia, INSPEN, Board of Valuer and Estate Agent, RISM as partners in doing research. 

LAnDS continues to move forward for further research in the development of lands for economic growth. Instead of research, we are now ready to serve community as a consultant in our expect area also collaboration with related industry.

For session 2013/2014, LAnDS has supervised more than 32 PhD and 14 Master research candidates whom are doing research in these four (4) aforementioned areas.
